Our beautiful hand-painted mongolian yurt is available for rent. This is an opportunity to spend a holiday or personal retreat in the one of the most beautiful areas of Central Portugal in the ecological reserve of the Serra d´Acor.

The yurt is set in a private secluded shady area of the Awakened Life Project near the stream and only 5 minutes walk from the waterfalls and pools of Fraga da Pena. In the summer months you will be enjoying frequent dips in these refreshing wild waters! There are hiking trails up into the mountains and in the protected forest area of Mata da Magaraça also close by, and the local village and cafe of Pardierios is a very pleasant 15 minute walk.

The yurt is quite large at 6 meters diameter with a futon double bed or two singles. There is a gas stove for boiling water and cooking and plenty of shelf space, but no electricity. We ask that you only eat vegetarian during your stay and if you want a big cooked meal to eat out at one of the local restaurants, because we only have the one burner. We have a rustic elegant solar shower and a compost toilet for your use. Since the yurt is located on the valley floor and we have limited parking at the bottom of our track, you will need to park your vehicle halfway up the mountainside which is a fairly steep 10 minute walk.

Price is 35€ per night or 220€ per week. Fresh food picked from the quinta, and a delicious raw breakfast are available at an extra cost.
